Dr. Clay Siegall – Saving Lives and Making a Difference

Dr. Clay B. Siegall is an entrepreneur and medical specialist who has dedicated his career to doing medical research and to making contributions to oncology though his research and company.

In 1998, Dr. Clay Siegall founded Seattle genetics. It is a biotech company that has the purpose go providing oncologists with the tools and medications they need in order to save lives. Cancer is one of the biggest struggles of medicine and it has been that for many years. Dr. Clay Siegall encountered the grievances of the disease hen his father fell sick when Dr. Clay Siegall was 19 years old. Doctors tried to save him but the treatments were so heavy, that his father could not bear it very well. He became sick with anemia and that worsened his condition considerably. He died because of the complications of the chemotherapy when Dr. Clay Siegall was in his 20s.

Dr. Clay Siegall studied Zoology and after that he got an education in Genetics. He completed his education at the George Washington University. After that, Dr. Clay Siegall did research for a few years at the Bristol – Myers Squibb Pharmaceutical Research Institute. He got promotion ones but after a few more years Dr. Clay B. Siegall decided to move on and start a job an New York City. There he was a part of the National Institute of Health. He continued to do research on cancer more in-depth and developed his career further.

After Dr. Clay B. Siegall started yup the company of Seattle genetics, he was able to take his medical career to a whole new level. He was able to put out a drug that was approved in 2011 by the FDA and is now distributed in about seventy countries worldwide. That is not the only drug that has been approved and there are also a few patents that are awaiting the FDA approval.

Dr. Clay B. Siegall has made many significant contributions to the medical world and Oncology. He has also made many donations and has helped save and improve the lives of many patients suffering from cancer.
